The National Board Technical Scholarship is available to the children, step-children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren of past or present National Board Commissioned Inspectors (living or deceased) and to past or present National Board employees (living or deceased).
Each year, the National Board offers two $6,000 scholarships to selected students meeting eligibility standards and who are pursuing a bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering curriculum or related studies. Applicants must also be enrolled, full-time, in an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. or Canada with a cumulative college GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
The application period is September 1 to February 28. Following review of applications by the selection committee, recipients will be notified of their awards by the last business day of March.
