New British Columbia Member Elected

John Siggers has been elected to the National Board representing British
Columbia. He is safety manager for British Columbia Safety Authority.
Mr. Siggers began his career working as a first-class steam plant operator
for Nova Scotia Power. He then went to work as a boiler and pressure vessel
inspector for Commercial Union Insurance of Canada before becoming assistant
chief officer for the Ministry of Consumer and Commercial Relations in Ontario.
He subsequently returned to Nova Scotia as chief examiner. In June he joined the
province of British Columbia as safety manager.
Mr. Siggers holds National Board Commission No. 11027. He resides in
Abbotsford with his wife Heather and two children.
