National Board Synopsis Reporting Reminder to Jurisdictional Authorities
The National Board recently sent out notices to participating jurisdictional authorities with detailed instructions regarding NB-370, National Board Synopsis of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Laws, Rules and Regulations, and the online reporting method for both Members and Non-Members. If your jurisdiction did not receive the notice, or if you have questions about the registration and reporting process, please email webadmin@nationalboard.org.
The National Board requests all Synopsis content be reviewed and updated (if necessary) by December 5th, 2014.
The National Board fully appreciates your continued assistance in keeping the Synopsis of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Laws, Rules and Regulations up to date with new regulatory information from your jurisdiction. It is through this professional cooperation the National Board has been able to provide a vital resource critical to the best interests of the pressure equipment industry.
The Synopsis is located on the National Board website homepage in the Resources box and features a dropdown box menu so users can select a specific jurisdiction and review detailed information regarding current laws, rules, and regulations. Each online report includes the prevailing requirements, detailed contact information, and regulatory history for each jurisdiction. An at-a-glance Synopsis update report will continue to be published in the winter issue of the BULLETIN.
