More Persons Eligible for Scholarship

 

The National Board has revised eligibility requirements for the National Board Technical Scholarship. The scholarship is now available to the children, step-children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of past and present National Board staff and members as well as past and present Commissioned Inspectors. Previously, the scholarships were limited to “. . . Commissioned Inspectors employed by a member jurisdiction.”

 

Executive Director David Douin said, “The revision will allow more persons to be eligible for a scholarship, while still limiting eligibility to citizens of the United States and Canada.”
