The National Board strives to keep information in the hands of website users. Provided here are more than 70 Technical Articles previously published in the National Board BULLETIN or from the proceedings of past General Meetings.
The National Board Synopsis of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Laws, Rules and Regulations is a compilation of jurisdiction laws, rules, and regulations set forth in a concise, easy-to-read format. It features the prevailing requirements, detailed contact information, and regulatory history for each jurisdiction.
This publication takes the form of a searchable database which presents the National Board pressure relief device certification program and lists those device designs certified and those organizations authorized to apply the National Board NB symbol to devices of certified types.
This searchable directory contains a listing of manufacturers of boilers, pressure vessels, or other pressure-retaining items holding an active Certificate of Authorization to Register with the National Board; active manufacturers or assemblers of pressure relief devices who have these items currently capacity certified by the National Board Repair organizations holding an active National Board Certificates of Authorization for use of either the R, VR, or NR stamps; and/or pressure relief valve testing organizations holding an active National Board Certificate of Authorization for use of the T/O Certification Mark.
By agreement with ASME, copies of out-of-print editions of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code are available from the National Board library.
