Sam Chapman retired as chief boiler inspector for the state of Tennessee on March 5, 2021. An NBBI member and chief inspector since 2015, Chapman previously worked for the state of Tennessee as a deputy boiler inspector and as assistant chief boiler inspector. Mr. Chapman served in the US Navy for 20 years, serving as a boiler technician from 1979 to 1999.
