Ben Crawford Receives Honorary Membership
Ben Crawford was awarded a National Board Honorary Membership on May 12 during the Members’ Meeting at the 94th General Meeting in Denver.
Crawford, a 2025 recipient who could not attend last year, was the chief boiler inspector for the state of Georgia for 12 years. He joined the Georgia Department of Labor/Safety Engineering Division in 1996, serving as boiler inspector, elevator inspector, and carnival amusement inspector. In 2005, he was promoted to supervisor over inspections. Crawford now is a safety compliance inspector for Georgia.
Mark Lower and Ralph Pate, 2026 honorees, were unable to attend and will be honored later.
