Report of Violation Findings for Second Quarter of 2011

The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors has released the Violation Findings Second Quarter Report for 2011. The report is based on 56 reports from 34 jurisdictions and covers 146,511 inspections revealing 16,027 violations (11% violation rate).
 
Boiler Controls is the category with the highest number of violations, reporting 5,065. Boiler Piping and Other Systems is second with 4,408 violations.
