IPEIA 2027 Conference & Exhibition Set for Calgary

The International Pressure Equipment Integrity Association (IPEIA) will host its 2027 Conference & Exhibition on February 23-25 at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This year marks a milestone as IPEIA celebrates 30 years of supporting education and advancement in the pressure equipment industry.

The event will feature technical presentations, industry keynote speakers, an expanded exhibition, networking events, student programming, special sessions, and panel discussions. Attendees will also have opportunities to engage directly with regulators and participate in the Integrity Challenges Forum.

The conference will also bring together NBBI leadership and Canadian jurisdictional chiefs, including Executive Director Joel Amato and Board of Trustees Chair Eben Creaser (New Brunswick chief).

Keynote speakers are retired Lt. Gen. Roméo Dallaire and David A. Osage.

Dallaire is a renowned humanitarian, author, former Canadian senator, and human rights advocate. Drawing on his experience in global affairs and conflict resolution, he delivers powerful insights on leadership, genocide prevention and the use of child soldiers, inspiring audiences to confront difficult challenges and pursue meaningful change.

Osage is a Technical Fellow at The Equity Technology Group, Inc., and a founding member and former CEO of its subsidiary, The Equity Engineering Group, Inc. He brings five decades of experience in the refining and petrochemical industries, specializing in pressure equipment, stress analysis, fracture mechanics, fitness-for-service, and risk-based inspection.
