GM Cancellation
03/26/20

The 89th National Board/ASME General Meeting in
Aurora, Colorado, May 11-15, has been canceled.

The National Board, in conjunction with ASME, has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 General Meeting due to sweeping local, state, and federal responses throughout North America to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, which includes: large meeting restrictions, travel bans, the closures of nonessential businesses, stay-at-home mandates, and social distancing protocols.

We apologize for any inconvenience this causes our attendees and vendors, and we are sad to cancel this important industry gathering that has a nearly 90-year tradition. But the wellbeing and safety of our registrants, staff, industry partners, and communities must take priority during this unprecedented public health emergency.

Please note that the Gaylord Rockies Hotel & Convention Center has canceled all National Board group hotel reservations made within the hotel block and will be sending you an email confirmation of the cancellation. Please contact the Gaylord Rockies with any questions about your reservation/cancellation: 1-720-452-6900.

We hope to see you next year in Scottsdale, Arizona, and look forward to a safe, healthy, and celebratory gathering in 2021 at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.

Until then, our thoughts and prayers are with those impacted by this virus, and our gratitude goes out to the healthcare workers, first responders, military, and all essential workers and businesses that are on the frontlines of this pandemic.

General Meeting Registration Refunds

The National Board will automatically begin issuing full refunds for those who have paid the registration fee. All refunds will be credited back to the credit card or bank account from which the registration was paid. Please allow several days for the credit to be posted to your account.
