Owner-User Inspection Organizations

An Owner-User Inspection Organization (OUIO) is an owner-user of pressure equipment that maintains an established inspection program and whose organization and inspection procedures meet the requirements of NB-371, Accreditation of Owner-User Inspection Organizations and NB-381, Quality Management Systems for Inspection Organizations, and are acceptable to the jurisdictional authority where the owner-user is located.

Organizations seeking PROVISIONAL accreditation by the National Board should:

• Complete the NB-111, Application for the National Board Provisional Certificate of Accreditation/Acceptance for Authorized Inspection Agencies (AIAs) and Owner Users (OUIOs). 

Organizations seeking NEW/RENEWAL accreditation by the National Board should:

• Complete NB-463, Application for the National Board Certificate of Accreditation/Acceptance for Authorized Inspection Agencies (AIA) and Owner Users (OUIO)
