Former Virginia Chief Passes Away
Former National Board member and Chief of Virginia William “Will” Long passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018. Mr. Long worked for the state of Virginia in the Labor and Industry Department for 18 years, and served as the boiler chief of Virginia between 1984 and 1987 before retiring. Mr. Long was a charter and lifetime member of the Eastern Hanover Volunteer Fire Department for 51 years. Will loved to play guitar as a hobby and was in several bands throughout the years. He was also an avid golfer and always enjoyed playing a round of golf during his early retirement.
