National Board Announces Member Retirement and New Members

 

William Anderson retired from his role as director/chief boiler inspector for the state of Mississippi on September 30, 2022. Mr. Anderson served in the US Army. He is a boilermaker journeyman and was involved in the new construction of boilers in the early 1970s. Between 1973 and 2004 he was employed with Tennessee Valley Authority and supervised the construction of boilers in coal, fossil, and nuclear plants. From 1986-1988 he served as trustee on the Executive Board of Boilermakers 455 in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Mr. Anderson was the recording secretary of boilermakers there from 1989-1991. In 1986, he represented Boilermakers Local 455 at the TVA Wage Conference and was an elected delegate to the 27th Consolidated Convention of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Forgers and Helpers representing Boilermakers Local 455. He joined with the State of Mississippi in 2012 and has been an NBBI member since 2016.


 

Timothy Bagrowski is the newest member representing the commonwealth of Virginia.

Mr. Bagrowski has been involved in the boiler industry for 22 years and has worked as a stationary engineer, deputy boiler inspector, and most recently, as a senior compliance inspector for the commonwealth of Virginia. He is a graduate of Essex Community College with a degree in data processing, and holds a National Board IS Commission with the R Endorsement and serves as a National Board Review Team Leader.

Thomas Carter is the newest member representing the state of Mississippi.

Mr. Carter has worked in the boiler industry for the past 28 years and has worked as a sales manager, outside sales consultant, and most recently, as a deputy boiler inspector for the state. He also served in the US Army, where he was a radar repairman. Mr. Carter holds a National Board IS Commission with the R Endorsement.
