NBBI Mourns Sam Chapman

Sam Chapman, former chief boiler inspector for the state of Tennessee, passed away June 11, 2025. He was 68.

Mr. Chapman was a member from 2015 to 2021. He also was employed with the state of Tennessee as a deputy boiler inspector (2002 to 2009) and assistant chief boiler inspector (2009 to 2015).

Mr. Chapman served in the U.S. Navy as a boiler technician from 1979 to 1999.
