David Warburton Returns as Florida Chief

David Warburton returns as the National Board member representing the state of Florida. Mr. Warburton previously was chief from 2018-2024.

Mr. Warburton has an IS Commission and an R Endorsement.

His professional work experience started in 1986, working as a boilermaker/ welder at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. He served in the Coast Guard from 1988 to 1992.

In January of 2013, Mr. Warburton became a senior deputy boiler inspector with the state of Delaware before beginning his first stint as Florida’s chief.
