In this issue, the BULLETIN features quick-actuating closures (QACs). QACs are a vital industry tool where efficiency and access matter, but when they fail, the consequences can be catastrophic. To address these challenges, QACs have been a focus for the National Board Inspection Code, where Part 2, Inspection, has been rewritten and work continues in Part 3, Repairs and Alterations, for inclusion in a future NBIC edition.
