NBBI Welcomes its Newest Members

Howard Berny is the new member representing the State of Minnesota.

Mr. Berny is a US Navy veteran who spent his career with the state. Over the last three decades, he served in roles including stationary engineer, plant maintenance engineer, chief engineer, physical plant director, and boiler and pressure vessel inspector.

 

Thomas Maher is the new member representing the City of Chicago.

Mr. Maher has more than 20 years of experience, including previous employment as a boilermaker and blacksmith. The Army National Guard veteran joined the city as a boiler inspector in 2005.

 

Kenneth Ravello is the new member representing the City of Los Angeles.

Mr. Ravello has over two decades of experience, including previous employment as a production engineer, boiler and machinery consultant, and a risk control specialist.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Ravello joined the city as a pressure vessel safety engineer in 2007.
