Host City of the 87th National Board/ASME General Meeting

Dallas, Texas, host city of the 87th National Board/ASME General Meeting May 7-11, 2018, has become the top event and meeting destination in the state of Texas. Here are a few city stats that explain why: daily direct flights from over 170 destinations, it’s the ninth largest city and fifth largest metropolitan economy, and Dallas is a right-to-work state that offers some of the lowest labor costs in the country. Plus, Dallas is home to the biggest urban arts district in the nation (19 square blocks), was voted Best Shopping in the Southwest, and is home to six professional sports teams.

Guests of the 87th General Meeting will have access to Dallas from the sophisticated host hotel, the Hilton Anatole. The Anatole is located on 45 acres just north of downtown Dallas and is a short cab ride to many of the exciting venues Dallas has to offer. But the Anatole has plenty of onsite attractions of its own, including a 1,000-piece exclusive art collection displayed throughout the hotel, a private sculpture park, the new JadeWaters resort pool complex, award-winning health and fitness facility Verandah Club, and five dining venues. Learn more about the Hilton Anatole here.
