Inside the BULLETIN
The BULLETIN was established in 1943 to promote the objectives of the National Board and to keep members advised of industry news and developments.
Now in its 72nd year of publication, the BULLETIN features informative technical articles written by National Board staff and industry experts, and also issues the following National Board annual reports: Synopsis of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Laws, Rules, and Regulations (winter); Incident Report (winter); Violation Tracking Report (summer); and the Registration Report (fall).
Other regular features include the National Board/ASME General Meeting preview (winter) and subsequent highlights (summer); regular updates from the National Board’s Pressure Relief and Training Departments (in each issue); member profiles, retirements, and elections (in each issue); a message from the executive director (in each issue); and NBIC and ASME code interpretation selections (in each issue).
