The National Board Remembers Raymond Snyder

The National Board is saddened to learn of the passing of Raymond Snyder on March 18, 2023. He was 89.

Mr. Snyder was a member from 1995-1999, representing the state of New Jersey. Before being named lead examiner for the Office of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Compliance in 1993, Mr. Snyder served more than 25 years with the Maryland Casualty Company.

Mr. Snyder also served in the U.S. Navy as a boilermaker, achieving the rank of senior chief petty officer.
