Derks and Davidian are our newest members; Brodkorb joins Advisory Committee

During its meeting Aug. 15 in Minneapolis, the Board of Trustees accepted the National Board membership application for Chris Derks for the state of Wisconsin jurisdiction and elected Scott Brodkorb to the Advisory Committee. On Sept. 5, the Board of Trustees accepted the National Board Membership application for Micah Davidian for the state of California jurisdiction. 

Chris Derks holds a National Board IS Commission.

He previously worked for the state of Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services as a consultant in the mechanical safety program.

Micah Davidian holds National Board IS and AI Commissions with R and B Endorsements.

He has worked with the state of California since 2005 as an associate safety engineer and senior safety engineer. On Sept. 1, Mr. Davidian was promoted to acting principal safety engineer. Previously, he worked as a designer for a pressure vessel manufacturer.

Scott Brodkorb, senior vice president at Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection & Insurance Company, will represent Authorized Inspection Agencies. He replaces Phil Cole.
