National Board Welcomes New Massachusetts Member
 
Henry R. Geryk Jr. has been elected to National Board membership representing the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He began his career first as an operating engineer and then as the assistant to the chief engineer with Strathmore Paper Company in 1982, and then became a district engineering inspector for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Safety in 1985 through the present.   
 
Mr. Geryk attended the Wentworth College of Technology in Boston and received an associate of science in mechanical power technology in 1980, and a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering technology in 1982. He is chairman of the Massachusetts Bureau of Pipefitters, Refrigeration Technicians, and Sprinklerfitters; represents the Department of Public Safety on the Massachusetts Recreational Tramway Board; and is a lifetime member of the National Association of Power Engineers.
